David P. Papp, P.Eng.

David began playing with networks in the 80's. With experience on the Internet since 1991 and creating one of Edmonton's first "home pages", David has been involved since the beginning in pioneering the commercial Internet. He was responsible for founding one of the leading Internet Service Providers in 1995 and has since helped create and support many of Alberta's ISPs and web presence providers. He now enjoys network and security consulting for small businesses right up to large corporate enterprises.

Microtek LogoDavid created his consulting business, Microtek Corporation, in 1991 and has successfully developed a number of different divisions within the company to create a one stop shop for his clients. He enjoys having a strong business relationship with his clients acting as their technology advisor.

David is a registered professional engineer within the province of Alberta and has also earned a large number of industry related certifications pertaining to security and networking, in addition to vendors such as Cisco, Microsoft, and VMware.
