I have enjoyed reading the blog for a few months now. Thanks David, happy new year to you.
This year’s Google – Year In Search video was among the best so far. Another year ahead with great developments in technology. Thanks to your blog, I won’t have to go anywhere else for interesting tech news.
Been enjoying the posts you’ve been posting so far. Keep up the good job!
A lot happened during 2014 such as scientific developments, technological as well as many other things and we can only keep growing stronger as fellow human beings wandering around on this Earth.
Happy new year to you too David – I wish you every prosperity for 2015. May I take the opportunity to say thanks for the blog – I really enjoy the articles you publish. Long may it continue!
I haven’t been around on this blog for too long yet, but I definitely hope to stick around in 2015! Happy new year to you!
Happy New Year to you as well! Thank you for providing consistent interesting content!
Glad to see Game of Thrones got a brief appearance! 😀 I read the books instead of watch the TV show. It’s a pretty good franchise. I’m not so elated about the ebola mention. That disappeared from American media after what, three weeks? Maybe it’s still going on elsewhere, and I’m just not aware of it anymore. Nonetheless, a good video from Google.
Happy new years. I feel like the festivities this year have been a little lacking compared to prior years but nonetheless, it marks the end of another year and the start of another new one.
All the best and hope to see more interesting posts.
Happy New Year!! I hope this year brings us goodness and everything we hope to accomplish. Think positive, wake up with good intentions and carry on! Write on!!
Happy new years, everybody!!!
This blog is new to me but there is some cool stuff on here, so hopefully that’ll continue in 2015!
It’s been an amazing year for technology and gaming. Let’s hope THAT continues in 2015 as well!
Hope you all had a great christmas/holidays and new years!
See you in 2015! 😀
Happy New Year! Looking forward to a 2015 fully of tech-y goodness (and maybe a few of the things we were promised in Back to the Future 2? Hoverboards for all! 😉 ).
Keep up the great work. I’ve really enjoyed your articles thus far, I can’t wait to see what lies in store for the coming year.
Wow! The Google video made me laugh and cry and go ‘Aw c’mon’ too! I loved the flashback to Robin Williams and Maya Angelou. I hope 2015 treat us good and that we find more people and ways, rather than losing them. Happy New Year!
David Papp is one of the most insightful tech blogs I frequent, glad to be a member here. Happy new year folks! Hope we all have a prosperous 2015!
This is a great blog, I’ve often come here for insightful news about the latest Tech. Theres a lot of really great insight on the world of technology. Happy New Year to everyone.
Absolutely adore Google’s video. I know, for me, I search for knowledge, because it’s absolutely true that knowledge is power! Like all of our mothers probably told us, “Every day you should learn something new.” Remember sitting around the dinner table, and the most important question was, “So what did you learn in school today?” As an adult, the world is my school, and I want to learn as much as I can. Thankfully, we live in an age where all we have to do is type our questions into a search engine, and POW! more answers than you can dream of. Even in the early days of the internet, it wasn’t quite so easy. You could type in your question, or topic, and you might get a couple dozen or a couple hundred results to slog through. Now? Tens of thousands or more, sorted by relevance! What you seek might not always be on the first page or two, but many times it is. It’s almost like a magic encyclopedia, where you whisper your question, and the cover magically opens to the page you’re looking for.
Remember how everyone was worried about Y2K? There’s going to be something similar this year. Our earth’s rotation is slowing down, and we will have a “leap second” this year because of it. The 1st second of 2016 will be repeated once on time servers. That might confuse certain database systems and programs that are critically time sensitive. Google has a fix, they will “salami slice” an extra second on over a few months. Hopefully 2016 starts without a problem.
Happy new year!
And a Happy New Year to you too, David, and to everyone else also hanging around here!
May 2015 bring us better tech, more gadgets and faster computers, as well as the flying car they’d promised us all those years ago!
Hey, a man can always dream!
Happy New Year! I can’t wait to see what technology has in store for us this year, and can’t wait to read your blog posts about it as well. Hopefully this year has plenty in store, since the potential is endless. Fingers crossed for hovercars and jetpacks, lol!
Happy New Year’s! Here’s to a good year and better food on the table. And good taste.
